Why don’t you…?
Before Diana Vreeland became the legendary editor of Vogue, she had a column in Harper’s Bazaar (have I lost you?) titled, “Why don’t you…?” Mind you, this was before my time. It was witty, provocative and delightful.
So, when I come up with a good one, I’ll spring a “Why don’t you…?” at Camp Liza. I will love the idea so much, and so many friends will have loved it so much, that of course I’ll want to share it with you.
Here’s the deal. Ever have friends or houseguests come over and they ask for your wifi password? Of course you have. You scratch around, you can’t find it, they are getting crazed, you tell them to look on your modem somewhere, you can’t find your glasses to read the small letters, or you read it aloud, only to have to read it three times more because they copied the number wrong… You’ve been there, right?
Why don’t you… print out this template, or design one of your own? Fill in the magic code with a Sharpie. Laminate it or slip it into a plastic sleeve. Put it on your guest bed, or frame it and hang it on the wall.
Much better. Just sayin’.
