Gone to meet the Women in the World

I’m taking a four-hour bus ride across the Yucatan Peninsula and then I’ll board a plane at Cancun airport to fly to New York.

My lovelies….this Thursday, April 3, 2014 I will be officially launching Camp Liza at the Women in the World Summit in New York City.  I will be in amazing company.

I’m at this powerful moment of my life where I finally have the time to devote to the issues of my choice. And my choice right now, is to be concerned about women struggling for decency around the world.

My lovelies, are you in this amazing moment too? Has your career ended or shifted into new territory, leaving you with more time? Are your children raised, educated and launched into the world? If so, seize this powerful moment. Make it yours, make it count.

Time is THE most precious thing in the world. Time is priceless; you can’t buy it. Rich and poor we all have the same amount of time.  So spend the currency of your time to be involved in whatever issue you feel needs your attention.  It’s a gift back to the world that supported you, and it is paying it forward for future generations.

This Thursday, at the three-day summit, I will meet the women, hear the stories, get the facts, see the faces, make connections, dance to world music, think about the past and ponder a better future.

I am going to take my place as a Woman in the World.

Join me. Be inspired. Watch the live stream! It’s free.
